Airside Operations (Schiphol) now operational.
Hessing Telecommunication BV has supplied a new integrated communication system for the Airside Operations at Schiphol.
Hessing Telecommunication has integrated the communications equipment onto a single screen (Touch Display) in the new Airside Operations control room. An emergency roles processing system (ROS) has also been added – this automatically calls out the necessary emergency services and manpower, based on a staff roster.
The Schiphol Airport Service project includes the supply, installation, operational delivery and maintenance of a complete communications system for operational airport service staff, and consists of:
- 5 operating positions, controlling - 8 transmitter/receivers - 5 telephone lines - central comserver - crash alarm system (ROS) The system was delivered up to the customer in September 2001.
