Hessing supplies communications system to the Royal Dutch Navy.
Hessing Telecommunication BV has delivered a new communications system to the Royal Dutch Navy in Curaçao. The system is being used to facilitate communication between the Navy and vessels on Curaçao and neighbouring islands.
The analogue HESCOM II switching system consists of 3 workplaces, each of which can control up to 15 transmitter/receivers. Each operator can choose whether to send information through an open line or whether to encrypt it. Encrypted information cannot be deciphered by third parties and is thus secured against misuse.
