Hessing Telecom at work among the pyramids.
Hessing Telecommunication BV won a contract to supply communications equipment to the new International Marsa  Alam Airport in Egypt.
The project was carried out in collaboration with Prince Cladding, which was responsible for the supply and installation of the Visual Flight Room (the air traffic control tower), thereby continuing the successful cooperation between the two firms. They had previously worked together on a communications system for the air traffic control tower at Nevis international airport.
The Marsa Alam project included the supply, installation, operational delivery and maintenance of a complete air traffic control communications system, and consists of:
- consoles - a Hescom II voice switch - transmitters and receivers - a digital recorder system - a clock system - a crash alarm system - AFTN message switching system
