New emergency control room in the St Lucas Andres Hospital

As part of the renovation program, a new emergency control room is being realized in the entree of the hospital. The new control room contains a concentration of communications, monitoring and information systems.

The system is a fully integrated communication GUI/ MMI (Graphical User Interface / Man - Machine Interface) touch display system. The hospital’s various information systems will thus be linked centrally via Cat.5 KVM extenders (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) to the incident room, thereby generating less noise and heat in the incident room itself.

The project includes the supply, installation, operational delivery and maintenance of a complete communications system, and consists of:

- 1 Operator position
- 7 phone lines (max. 8)
- 1 radio channel
- 24 intercom stations
- Control for doors and barriers in the hospital
- Interface for switching camera / video matrix with connection of intercom
- Remote maintaining CCTV recorder
- Voice logger for 4 phone lines
